Photography Award at the Boys and Girls Club
In March of 2015, Kids’ Dreams sponsored the Palm Beach County ImageMakers Award Ceremony and Photography Exhibition at Florida Atlantic University’s Boca Campus. ImageMakers is a yearly national photography competition hosted by the Boys and Girls Club of America that encourages members ages 6 to 18 to learn and practice black-and-white, color, digital and alternative process photography. From approximately 440 photos submitted for the 2015 contest, the top 12 winning photos were selected by Kids’ Dreams and the Boys and Girls Club. Kids’ Dreams Board Member, Lance Longwater, worked closely with the Boys and Girls Club of America to help sponsor and host the ImageMakers Award and served as one of the head judges of the competition.
The first place winner was 9 year old Isabella Grajales. Isabella was awarded a Canon Powershot Digital Camera by Kids’ Dreams to pursue her interest in photography. Below are all of the honorable mentions submitted to the contest. For more information, visit the Boys and Girls Club official ImageMakers page here.
