Kids' Dreams, Inc. has developed a program that provides funding for tuition, books and supplies to economically underserved students who attend Title 1 high schools in Palm Beach County. The educational support is for attendance at Florida public colleges and universities. Scholarship awards for the students are funded directly to the schools to be applied to the student accounts and used only for the purposes set forth above.
Eligible Title 1 high school seniors submit their Kids' Dreams, Inc. College Scholarship Application to our board members for review. The application must include; 1) a formal recommendation letter signed by their principal or teacher, 2) a list of achievements and extra-curricular activities, 3) an essay describing childhood and family life, and 4) an essay explaining future goals.
We offer mentoring to all students selected for scholarships. Our mentoring process is impactful not just to the student's academic endeavors, but also translates into their everyday lives. There is no greater reward than seeing our scholars in their graduation caps and gowns.
